Job summary

Downtown Chrysler, a flagship member of Downtown AutoGroup, is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician to join a tight-knit team. The role offers a starting rate of $40+ per hour and a signing bonus for the right candidate, with strong opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to the DAG standard of excellence, delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the work is completed correctly the first time.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Qualification: Automotive Service Technician – 310S, Red Seal.
• Experience with Stellantis / FCA vehicles.
• Proven experience as a licensed automotive technician.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles effectively.
• Excellent time management with ability to prioritize.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Solid understanding of vehicle service requirements.
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Ensure all work is completed correctly and first time right.
• Mentor apprentices and learn from senior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings to customers.

Your Role

As a Licensed Automotive Technician, your extensive knowledge and expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional service and maintenance to our guests' vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing vehicles while ensuring all work is completed correctly, aligning with DAG’s standard of excellence and embodying a “fix it right the first time” attitude. You’ll join a strong tightly-knit team where you’ll have the opportunity to both mentor apprentices and receive mentorship from senior master technicians.
