Job summary

The Hemodialysis unit at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses.

You will provide nursing care within your scope, participate in care planning, and implement nursing interventions as part of a French-language professional environment.

A $25,000 recruitment incentive and relocation assistance are available to eligible candidates, along with pension, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognized diploma in practical nursing.

Licensed Practical Nurses - Hemodialysis

$25,000 recruitment incentive and relocation assistance*

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Facility: Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre

Unit: Hemodialysis

Schedule: Rotating shifts of 8 or 12 hours

Salary: $35.14 to $39.63 per hour

Language requirement: French is essential, with spoken English

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You must:

• hold a recognized diploma in practical nursing;
• be a member in good standing of a Canadian professional nursing association;
• be a member in good standing, or eligible for registration, with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses;
• hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate;
• be proficient in French and able to communicate verbally in English;
• be able to work both independently and as part of a team;
• have the physical ability to perform the work;
• have a good performance and attendance record; and
• be legally authorized to work in Canada and New Brunswick.

RELEVANT TRAINING

The successful candidate must complete the nursing certification programs specific to the Hemodialysis Unit within the prescribed timelines.

Training or experience in hemodialysis, nephrology, or caring for patients with kidney disease is considered an asset.
