Job summary

A senior living company in Edmonton is seeking an LPN Team Leader responsible for the general well-being of residents through quality service delivery. The role involves providing assessments, treatments, personal care, and medication administration, alongside directing Care Staff. Candidates must be registered LPNs, have valid CPR certification, and meet specific physical and communication criteria. Qualifications

  • Must have a clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector (no more than 6 months old).
  • Must be physically fit to perform lifting and transferring.
  • Appropriately dressed in nursing uniform.

Position Summary:

The LPN Team Leader is responsible of ensuring the general well being of Residents through the delivery of high-quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophies of Park Place Seniors Living Inc. The LPN Team Leader will provide basic assessment and treatments, personal care, medication administration, and delegated health services to the Residents, as well as providing support and give direction to the Care Staff. The LPN Team Leader will at all times demonstrate support of Park Place policies and procedures and conduct themselves in a professional manner in all situations.

Qualifications:
  • LPN registered with C.L.P.N.A. in good standing
  • Valid C.P.R. certificate
  • Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old)
  • Must be physically fit to perform lifting and transferring and able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Appropriately dressed – nursing uniform
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language
  • Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team
