Job summary

Rebound Medical Clinic in Lethbridge, Alberta, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a family medicine team. This part-time role offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no evenings, weekends, or statutory holidays, and compensation based on experience.

You will perform injections, assist with procedures, conduct ECGs and POCT, and support chronic disease follow-up while maintaining EMR documentation and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current registration and good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in family medicine, primary care, community health, or outpatient settings is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform injections, ear irrigation and medication administration within scope of practice.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures and examinations.
• Conduct ECGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection as required.
• Complete wound care, dressing changes, and follow-up nursing assessments.
• Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and preventative health initiatives.
• Manage recalls, referrals, and chronic disease follow-up programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Med Access EMR system.
• Adhere to infection prevention, privacy, and clinic policies.
• Support and assist MOAs with daily patient care.

Rebound Medical is seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our family medicine clinic in Lethbridge. Working alongside a collaborative team of family physicians, medical office assistants, and allied healthcare professionals, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality primary care for patients across Southern Alberta.
