The Opportunity :
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role will serve the community of care at Human Services, Grimshaw, Alberta.
Role Summary :
The LPN is responsible for ensuring top resident care with a focus on time management.
We are seeking candidates interested in :

- Respectful, friendly, with a good sense of humor
- Knowledge of supportive living services, assessment, and care planning
- Lead the team to ensure commitment to person-directed services
- Provide care in accordance with nursing best practices and regulations
- Mentor Care Partners to advocate for residents’ well-being
- Perform duties as per individualized Care Plans
- Assist with medication administration as per strategies
- Delegate tasks to Care Partners following standards
- Report health, safety, or maintenance issues
- Engage in quality improvement and safe work practices
- Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external partners
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and families
- Participate in ongoing education and compliance with regulatory standards
Foundational knowledge and experience :
- Graduate of a recognized LPN program
- Registered and in good standing with CLPNA
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector
