A leading seniors care provider in Canada is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to deliver quality, person-centered nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in nursing and must maintain active registration with the relevant provincial body. This role involves significant physical demands and the ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
In keeping with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Park Place, the LPN/RPN, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, uses the nursing process and applies his/her nursing knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment in performing assessments, planning, implementing, and providing quality, person-centered nursing care to the Residents. The LPN/RPN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the relevant provincial governing body's practice standards and Code of Ethics, as well as Park Place policies and procedures.
The LPN/RPN practices in a setting where client care needs are established and changes in health conditions are predictable, ensuring a commitment to Park Place’s "culture of safety."
Computer, iPad, iPod, telephone, facsimile, photocopier, vital signs machine, mechanical lift, medication/wound cart.
Requires significant lifting, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, standing, and sitting. In an average day, spends 2 to 6 hours standing or walking. Lifts a maximum of 50 lbs., with frequent lifting and/or carrying of 20 lbs. Must manage stressful work situations with dexterity and professionalism.
