Job Summary: The pediatric school and home nurse supports medically fragile children and their families in the community. As a school and home nurse, you will provide complex pediatric nursing care within a school setting and at times in the child\'s home. The successful candidate will work throughout the school calendar with an opportunity to supplement hours in the visiting nursing program.
This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Individuals in the role are required to walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.
