Position Summary

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients/residents according to established policies and procedures and Standards of Practice.
  • Act independently while recognizing situations that require RN/RPN support.
  • Assist patients/residents in meeting physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
  • Participate in developing care plans, conducting assessments, and evaluating interventions.
  • Document information and act as an advocate for patients/residents.
  • Participate in care conferences and assist with orientation of new staff and students.
  • Respond to and report incidents according to established procedures and perform clerical duties as needed.
Shift Rotation / Hours of Work

Days, Evenings, 06:00 to 14:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 11:00 to 19:00, 12:00 to 20:00 (rotating)
