Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a dedicated Practical Nurse to provide patient care under supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves handling a patient load, following care plans, and coordinating with the medical team to ensure quality outcomes.

The position requires a Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program and BLS within 90 days, with ACLS in critical care units. On-site work with competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education or by the licensing authority of another state.
• CPR (BLS) within 90 days of hire; ACLS required in critical care units.
• Appreciable physical effort required; moving, lifting and assisting patients; on your feet most of the time.

Main Function

Education

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (cpr) Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date. Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required in critical care units.

Physical Demands

Appreciable physical effort required. Moving, lifting and assisting patients whose size and physical abilities can vary greatly. Some lifting, reaching and stooping. Required to be on feet much of the time.

Pay Range Disclosure

• Standard Rate of $25.15 to $36.00 per hour plus benefits
