Job Overview:

IIQAF Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care within hospital and healthcare settings across Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and experience delivering safe, effective care while complying with Canadian healthcare standards.

This role plays a vital part in supporting patient well-being, clinical operations, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and health conditions
  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with patient assessments, care plans, and documentation
  • Support patients with daily living activities and mobility assistance
  • Maintain accurate records in EMR/EHR systems
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with provincial nursing regulations and healthcare policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Canada
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Experience working in hospital, clinical, or healthcare environments
  • Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and medical terminology
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented approach
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in acute care, medical-surgical, long-term care, or specialty units
  • Current CPR / BLS certification
  • Familiarity with Canadian healthcare standards and patient safety practices
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
