The Wainwright Health Centre contains a 20-bed acute care medical/surgical unit, 2 bed obstetrical suite, 24/7 Emergency Department, in addition to an OR, day surgery unit and cardiac wellness services. As the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Wainwright Health Centre, you will have the opportunity to rotate within the areas of acute care, emergency, and labour/delivery, allowing you to work to full scope of practice and develop your nursing skills in multiple areas, while working within a multidisciplinary team to provide family focused nursing care.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Required Qualifications
