Your Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the WildRose Villa team in Boyle, Alberta. This is a small rural home-like facility with 22 residents. You will work with a case manager, team lead, LPNs and HCAs to provide resident‑centered care to DSL4 and 4D residents. As part of the knowledgeable multidisciplinary team, you will receive orientation, training and mentorship to help you succeed. You will learn about the aging process and get to know your patients on a personal level. Boyle is a charming village located just 1.5 hours north of Edmonton. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS‑HCP).
As Required.
Previous experience in a residential care facility is preferred.
