Job summary

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with active CLPNM licensure (or eligibility) for an Endoscopy program. The role requires BCLS, MS Office proficiency, and at least 1 year of recent Endoscopy experience.

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The position emphasizes independence, adaptability in a changing environment, confidentiality, and respect for a culturally diverse population

Qualifications

• Active licensure with CLPNM or eligible for licensure.
• Current BCLS Training per PMH policy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet/IT applications.
• One year full-time Endoscopy experience as an LPN within the last 3 years.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and adapt to changing techniques and procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and concepts related to the position.
• Good communication skills and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), or eligible for active practicing licensure with the (CLPNM)


• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training as delineated in Prairie Mountain Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training


• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology


• One (1) year equivalent full-time experience in an Endoscopy Program as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the last three (3) years


• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently


• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills


• Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures in a changing environment


• Demonstrated knowledge and competence of skills and concepts related to the position


• Demonstrated communication skills


• Ability to respect and promote confidentiality


• Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis


• Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population


• Ability to work effectively and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, clients and within interdisciplinary team
