Job summary

Charm Fertility in Oakville seeks a Licensed Clinical Assistant to join our patient-focused team. You will work with Physicians, Fertility Nurses, Sonographers, Lab Technicians, and Medical Office Administrators to provide compassionate fertility care, supporting initial assessments and ongoing treatments.

This role requires CPSO-registered Physician Assistant license, strong collaborative skills, and a willingness to travel between Oakville and other clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• Patient-centered approach with empathy, education, and trust.
• Experience in fertility, OB/GYN, or women’s health is an asset, but not required.
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient medical and fertility histories.
• Perform clinical assessments.
• Conduct in-person and virtual patient follow-ups.
• Review laboratory, ultrasound and diagnostic results, convey results to the supervising doctor.
• Communicate physician-approved treatment plans and results to patients.
• Participate in fertility cycle monitoring and follow-up.
• Provide patient education regarding fertility treatment, medications and procedures.
• Administer medications when appropriately authorized.
• Prescribe medications only through physician delegation under a direct order or approved medical directive.
• Perform controlled acts only when appropriately delegated by an authorized physician.
• Identify and escalation abnormal, critical or unexpected findings to the supervising physician.
• Document assessments, delegated care, treatment instructions and follow-up in the EMR
• Assist with clinical procedures when appropriately trained, competent and authorized.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Assistant to join our growing team. This role reports directly to the Medical Director and will work primarily out of our Oakville clinic, with flexibility to provide occasional coverage at our Etobicoke or Brampton locations as required.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with Physicians, Fertility Nurses, Sonographers, Lab Technicians, Medical Office Administrators, and the full healthcare team to provide personalized, compassionate care to our fertility patients. The Physician Assistant will integrate medical knowledge, patient education, and care coordination, while supporting both initial assessments and ongoing fertility treatments.
