Key Responsibilities

The Personal Lines CSR is responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance clients and ensuring outstanding customer service delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working with insurance company portals, Applied Rating, and Power Broker, with a strong understanding of personal insurance products.

Manage all aspects of personal lines client accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business processing.

Provide professional and timely customer service via phone, email, and in‑person interactions.

Use Power Broker to maintain accurate client files and documentation.

Utilize Applied Rating and insurance company portals (e.g., Aviva, Intact, Economical, Travelers) to quote and process personal lines policies.

Proactively identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities to enhance client coverage and retention.

Communicate effectively with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms and resolve any coverage or billing issues.

Ensure all client interactions and policy changes comply with RIBO regulations and brokerage procedures.

Support the team with other administrative or account management duties as required.

Experience/Qualifications

Active RIBO license (mandatory).

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Personal Lines CSR role within an Ontario insurance brokerage.

Proficiency with Power Broker, Applied Rating, and insurance company portals.

Strong knowledge of personal lines products, commercial lines experience or exposure considered an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong client service focus.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.

Experience in resolving client complaints and enhancing satisfaction.

Understanding of industry trends and ongoing product knowledge.

Willingness to collaborate with team members to improve service delivery.
