Job summary

Position Summary

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible new hires

The LNA is a vital part of the health care team which includes hospitalists, charge nurse, staff nurses, unit secretary and therapies. The successful candidate possess excellent communication skills, works well in a busy environment and is able to adapt to changing needs. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining and recording vital signs
  • EKGs
  • Glucometer point of care testing
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, feeding, ambulation)
  • Obtaining outside medical records
  • Clean and stock rooms with appropriate medical equipment and supplies
  • Assist nurses with patient care
Qualifications

Education: HS graduate

Licensure: VT LNA license, BLS certification
