Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in London, ON, is seeking a Licensed Millwright to maintain and repair equipment essential to food production. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Millwright License and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing maintenance while adhering to safety regulations. This is a full-time hourly position paying $39.50/hour, with potential pay increases through training.

About the Role

As a Licensed Millwright at Cargill, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment where your mechanical expertise will directly support food production.

What You Need
  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
  • Valid Millwright License
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
  • Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Able to work in confined spaces
What You'll Do
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Operate motorized vehicles and equipment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Welding certification or other trade experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
