HVAC Technician

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. You will play an integral role in ensuring the safety and optimal operation of HVAC systems for our diverse clientele. Locations: Kingston, Brantford, Ottawa, Cambridge, Sarnia, London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation & Maintenance: Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about customers and their equipment. Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance, and operation.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all required safety protocols and standards, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Complete required documentation and comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Service & Repair: Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs on various HVAC systems, following manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive, courteous, and professional attitude when interacting with customers, demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem-solve, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle & Tools: Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.
  • Teamwork: Actively participate in team-building, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Valid 313D HVAC Technician or Installer License.
  • Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card (Ontario or equivalent).
  • Valid Gas Fitter 3 (GF3) certificate or working toward a GF2 certificate (Ontario or equivalent).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 kg up to shoulder height, including climbing, operating equipment, and working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can include dust and solvents.
  • Valid Driver's License (G Class in Ontario) and a clean driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
Preferred Experience (Asset)
  • 3–5 years of field experience in service of water coolers, bottleless water systems, or other HVAC equipment.
  • Proficiency in low‑voltage electrical / electronic systems (e.g., thermostat wiring).
