As a key member of the team, the Licensed Financial Advisor Assistant supports the Financial Advisor and contributes to the success of client relationships and branch operations. The successful candidate will be dependable, proactive, and professional, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to accuracy and client satisfaction.

What will your role be responsible for?
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing proactive, responsive, and professional client service;
  • Support clients' day-to-day administrative and trade-related needs, including responding to inquiries, processing requests, and managing client communications;
  • Manage account administration, including new account openings, client records, documentation, and head office correspondence;
  • Ensure all documentation and transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with regulatory and firm requirements;
  • Process security transactions, transfers, trade instructions, and cash management activities, including incoming and outgoing funds and cash-equivalent transactions;
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, client presentations, and follow-up activities;
  • Lead tax reporting activities by coordinating with clients and tax professionals and providing required documentation and updates;
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media, website content, email campaigns, seminars, client events, and other promotional activities;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, CRM records, and KYP documentation in accordance with regulatory and firm requirements;
  • Complete ongoing professional development, regulatory training, and continuing education requirements; and

What do we expect from you?
  • Knowledge of investment concepts and industry practices within the securities and wealth management
  • Experience with account administration, including registered and non-registered accounts (e.g., RRSPs, TFSAs, and corporate accounts).
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both independently and within a team
  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and
  • Experience with CRM systems, social media, digital marketing tools, Dataphile, or personal tax filing is considered an asset.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
  • Post-secondary education;
  • A minimumof2yearsofindustryrelatedexperience;and
  • Experience intheinvestment brokerage, financial services, banking, or accounting industry is an asset

Salary Range:

$50,000 - 55,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
