Clutch Canada Inc. is hiring a Licensed Automotive Technician for the evening shift in Mississauga. The role requires 310S Red Seal or equivalent, 40 hours per week, and involves vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.

You will work with a reconditioning team to ensure vehicles meet mechanical and safety standards and maintain thorough documentation. The position offers hourly pay of $34.00–$39.00 with a $3,500 signing bonus after probation, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 310S Red Seal or equivalent certification or training.
• Experience working with a variety of car brands (domestic, import & European).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
• Desire to learn new skills.
• Comfortable using technology (Google Drive, Slack, etc.).
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs.

About the role: Clutch is looking for a Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team for the evening shift! The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM.

A $3,500 signing bonus will be paid after the 3-month probationary period. We’re looking for all-star licensed automotive mechanic talent to help ensure that all of our vehicles are up to our high mechanical standards. Working alongside our reconditioning team, you will perform vehicle inspections, maintenance work, and repairs across a range of systems.

What you’ll do:

Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests)

Diagnose and assess vehicle issues and damage

Make recommendations about vehicle repairs and the best course of action

Metrics/measurement of success include inspection thoroughness, repair quality, safety compliance, turnaround time, and documentation accuracy

• You will be required to wear CSA-approved safety footwear (green triangle, Grade 1) and other required PPE when on the job, and in other designated areas. Clutch will supply PPE and partial reimbursement toward the purchase of approved footwear.
