Job summary

Monkey Wrench Performance is a busy, independently owned automotive repair shop in Ontario. We are seeking a Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S/Red Seal or equivalent) to join our skilled team and handle diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on all makes and models.

You will work in a supportive, team‑oriented environment with opportunities to stay current with industry standards and technology.

Qualifications

• Valid Automotive Service Technician License (310S/Red Seal or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed mechanic (preferred but not required).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
• Own a basic set of professional tools.
• Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in welding is a plus.
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on all vehicle types.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, suspension, etc.).
• Conduct safety inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with other techs and service staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Uphold high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with industry standards, technology, and training.
