Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) invites applications for a School Library Technician at Robert E. Wilson Public School. The role supports library operations, organizes materials and provides reference services to students and staff.
This 50% regular, part-time position covers 10 months per year with 17.5 hours per week. A Library Tech diploma and 1–2 years of library experience are required; proficiency with library software and strong research skills are expected.

Salary Rate: $27.22 to $33.67 per hour (Level 5)
Effective: August 24, 2026
Under the direction of the Principal or designate, the Library Technician will provide technical and public services and perform other duties related to library operations such as organize, maintain, select, order, circulate print and non-print materials, provide reference services, research and prepare support materials for units of study, and perform public relations, supervisory and clerical activities.

Evaluation & Assessment: In accordance with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board's Administrative and Support Staff Selection Process, the evaluation and assessment of candidates will be completed using the following four (4) identified areas of performance: Organizational and Management Skills, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, and Knowledge and Practice, as they relate to the duties, qualifications, knowledge and education outlined above.
