Job summary

Canada Post in Trois-Rivières is seeking temporary, on-call delivery agents to sort, load and deliver mail and parcels on routes. You’ll start in the depot, handle deliveries by foot or vehicle, and return to the depot at day’s end.

The role requires a valid Class 5 or Class G license, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and readiness to work in all weather. On-call availability and English/French language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
• Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb).
• Ability to work in all types of weather.
• Available to be on-call.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French.

Responsibilities

• Start your day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries.
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle on your route.
• Return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages.
