You'll be driving a Canada Post postal vehicle, sorting and delivering mail, and serving as the friendly face of Canada Post on your assigned route — rain, snow, or sunshine.
Each day starts at the depot, where you'll sort and prepare deliveries before loading up the vehicle and heading out on your route. The bulk of your shift is spent outdoors, delivering mail and packages to residential and business customers across Swift Current — whether that's on foot or by vehicle. When the route is done, you'll return to the depot to unload incoming mail and parcels for subsequent delivery.
This role calls for physical stamina, a solid safe driving record, and the flexibility to be on-call as needed. Canada Post takes workplace safety seriously, and you'll receive thorough classroom and on-the-job training before heading out independently. Working as part of the broader Delivery Operations team, you'll be expected to uphold Canada Post's core values of Trust, Respect, and Deliver in every customer interaction.
This position pays $25.37 per hour. Canada Post also provides extensive classroom and on-the-job training to set you up for success from day one.
