Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
• Physical capability to lift mail items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather year-round.
• On-call availability for temporary capacity.
• English and/or French reading, writing, and speaking ability.
• Delivery or driving experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

About the Role: Letter Carrier / Delivery Agent

Each day starts at the depot, where you'll sort and prepare deliveries before loading up the vehicle and heading out on your route. The bulk of your shift is spent outdoors, delivering mail and packages to residential and business customers across Swift Current — whether that's on foot or by vehicle. When the route is done, you'll return to the depot to unload incoming mail and parcels for subsequent delivery.

This role calls for physical stamina, a solid safe driving record, and the flexibility to be on-call as needed. Canada Post takes workplace safety seriously, and you'll receive thorough classroom and on-the-job training before heading out independently.
