Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Summerside, PE, invites applications for a Lessons Teacher position. In this role you will teach voice (as required) and other instrument lessons within our on-site Lesson Centre, operating as an independent contractor.

Candidates should have at least a music degree or diploma, or Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments, or professional equivalency, plus prior teaching experience with all ages and familiarity with standard teaching methods and curricula.

Qualifications

• Music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments or professional equivalency.
• Professional equivalency may be considered.
• Previous teaching experience with all ages of students is required.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and curricula in private or group lessons.
