Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Courtenay, BC is seeking a Lessons Teacher to provide piano and other instrument instruction as an independent contractor. The role involves teaching diverse students and adhering to approved curricula within a formal lesson-centre setting.

Candidates must hold a music degree or diploma (or equivalent), have at least Grade 8 RCM with Rudiments, and possess prior teaching experience for all ages in private or group formats.

• Must have previous teaching experience with all ages of students.

Responsibilities

• Provide piano, guitar, or other instrument instruction as outlined by the centre.
• Work as an independent contractor for Long & McQuade Lesson Centres.
• Deliver lessons in a structured, age-appropriate manner to diverse student groups.

Job Requirements

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following:
• a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College
