Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments is seeking a Lessons Teacher in Burlington, ON to conduct piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice lessons. The role operates as an independent contractor with on-site Lesson Centres at select stores.

The ideal candidate has a music degree or diploma (or equivalent), plus teaching experience with all ages, and familiarity with standard teaching methods and curricula. Availability includes weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a music degree or diploma from a recognized University or College.
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments.
• Professional equivalency considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons to students of various ages as an independent contractor.
• Contribute to private or group lesson curriculum and use standard teaching methods.
• Be available on weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
