Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze and perform risk assessment of new installation, modernization, maintenance and repair contracts and bids of various complexities.

  • Negotiate contracts with customers to reduce risk.

  • Analyze customer responses and provide guidance on contract matters; contribute to streamlining the contracting process.

  • Handle high risk/high exposure contracts and provide leadership to the Contract Management team.

  • Review, analyze and negotiate contracts (new installations, modernization, service and repairs) to manage risks and enhance customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Job Qualifications
  • 2+ years of progressive experience with commercial contracts in a corporate or law firm setting; strong negotiation skills for complex contracts.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) and Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from an accredited Canadian law school or equivalent.

  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Other listed duties and requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Bilingual in French-Canadian required.

  • Ability to manage workload to meet all due dates and understand contract management processes.

  • Maintain high standard of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate highest level of personal and professional ethical conduct and confidentiality; understanding of legal concepts, terms and negotiation issues.

  • Understanding of all KONE products and services including branch issues, shipping schedules and installation issues identified within contracts.

Annual Base Pay Range: The hiring range for this role is $113,900 – $156,640. The compensation package offered will depend on the requirements of the role and factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and location.

Variable Compensation: KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company and individual goals.
