The Law Society of Saskatchewan is looking for a permanent full-time Legal Counsel to join our organization. The position would have shared responsibilities in the areas of Professional Responsibility and, to the Director of Regulation and Director of Professional Responsibility, this position supports the organization’s professional responsibility and public protection mandate by providing guidance and assistance respecting professional responsibility ethics and regulatory and compliance matters and by supporting the Law Society’s General Counsel in prosecutions of members and in unauthorized practice matters.
The Legal Counsel position would have shared responsibilities as Professional Responsibility Counsel and Regulation Counsel. The division of responsibilities will vary at times and will initially focus on the Professional Responsibility Counsel responsibilities.
