Join our collaborative Legal Affairs Department and work alongside a team of experienced lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants supporting litigation matters related to Group disability benefits, Group and individual life insurance, Critical illness insurance, Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) claims. As a Legal Assistant at Desjardins Financial Security (DFS), you will play an integral role in supporting the litigation team throughout the lifecycle of legal files. You will be responsible for coordinating administrative and legal processes, maintaining litigation records, preparing legal documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met in accordance with court procedures and internal standards. This position is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
