McGill University seeks a qualified instructor to teach EDSL 651: Content-Based L2 Learning in Winter 2027. The course covers theoretical underpinnings of second language learning through content-based approaches and analyzes empirical studies across immersion and other content-based L2 classrooms.

• PhD (or exceptional candidates with MA and extensive relevant experience)
• Expert knowledge of L2 learning theories and research in immersion/CBI
• Experience teaching similar graduate courses
• Experience in L2 instruction
• Knowledge of equity, diversity and inclusion in pedagogy
• Familiarity with myCourses/Zoom or similar platforms; blended teaching is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Teach EDSL 651 Content-Based L2 Learning for Winter 2027.
• Apply evidence-based instructional approaches in CBI and L2 education.
• Engage in equity and inclusive pedagogy and online/blended teaching.
• Collaborate with department and ensure quality teaching and learning experiences.
