Job summary

University of Toronto, St. George campus, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer position in MMG3001Y: Advanced Human Genetics. The two-term graduate course is restricted to MHSc Medical Genomics students and runs Tue/Thu mornings 9:00–12:00.

The appointment is for the spring semester only, January to April 2027, with term salary levels specified in the posting under CUPE 3902 Unit 3. Teaching duties will include lectures and discussions with TA support.

Qualifications

• Course delivery for MHSc Medical Genomics students.
• Ability to lead lectures and discussions in human genetics.
• Familiarity with CUPE 3902 Unit 3 terms and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver twice-weekly lectures and discussion sessions 9:00–12:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Prepare lectures, slides, assignments, and answer keys with TA support.
• Assess student work and provide timely feedback according to course syllabus.
