We are looking for a Leasing Coordinator to join our Residential team in Fort McMurray, AB. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Northview’s rental units are 100% occupied by qualified residents while maintaining a high level of customer service within our communities. This position offers flexible hours and is commission-based with unlimited earning potential.

Responsibilities
  • Being the point of contact for leasing inquiries, including outside of regular working hours
  • Conduct viewings, reference, and credit checks
  • Conduct move-in and move-out appointments with residents and ensure legal documents are completed and signed correctly
  • Conduct periodic market surveys within the market in your area and recommend rental fees based on market findings for vacant apartments
  • Marketing rental units in line with current policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years’ leasing experience, ideally in residential or building management or as a real estate agent
  • Excellent customer service skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to speak and write English and French fluently
  • Able to work independently, a self-starter, and takes pride in the delivery of excellent resident services
  • Experience and ability in “closing the deal”
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in creative marketing
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary
  • Strong computer skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license and in some instances access to a reliable vehicle
