Leasing Coordinator

As part of our team, you’ll contribute to the mission of our shareholder, MCC BC—a global charitable organization serving communities in BC, across Canada, and around the world. We oversee the daily management and development of a diverse portfolio of multi-family rental properties.

This full-time, in-office role is based at our newly renovated location in Abbotsford, B.C.

Duties:
  • Answering incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective tenants
  • Scheduling property tours (virtual or in-person) with on-site staff
  • Sharing information about HyLand Properties communities, suite features, pricing, and availability
  • Asking questions to understand the prospect's needs and recommending the best fit
  • Guiding prospective tenants through the application process
  • Maintaining accurate records in property management software (CRMIQ, Yardi Voyager)
  • Supporting building managers and leasing team in keeping property information up to date, including availability, promotions, and upcoming vacancies
  • Supporting team goals such as occupancy targets, lead response times, conversion, and service quality standards
  • Participating in tracking performance metrics (traffic, applications, closing ratio)
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Leasing Manager
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a call center environment, customer service, or hospitality is an asset but not required
  • Friendly and professional, with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning and using Yardi Voyager and CRM/leasing software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Flexible schedule, able to work Saturdays
