Job summary

EY Canada is seeking a Learning Services Specialist to support Assurance learning initiatives on an 18-month contract. You will manage projects, coordinate across service lines, and ensure high-quality learning delivery nationwide, including stakeholder communications and data analysis.

You will leverage your strong project management, Excel/PowerPoint, and LMS experience to drive scalable learning solutions while collaborating with internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years in learning, project coordination, learning operations or stakeholder-facing role.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • LMS experience; SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity.
  • English proficiency required for national scope of role.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage Assurance learning initiatives from planning through execution, with milestones and risks tracked.
  • Support implementation and sustainability of cross-service line learning initiatives.
  • Build relationships with dispersed teams and external providers for a consistent learner experience.
  • Handle learning data, budgets, invoices and approvals with accuracy and confidentiality.

The Talent Development and Learning team for EY Canada is seeking a Learning Services Specialist (LSS) to support the effective implementation, operation and sustainability of key Assurance learning initiatives. This multifaceted role requires strong project management, analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement and learning operations experience, along with a passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences from planning through execution.

The LSS will be part of the Talent Development and Learning team for EY Canada and will work closely with the Assurance Learning Leader, service line stakeholders, learning team members and external providers to enable consistent, inclusive and impactful learning delivery across Canada.

This is an 18-month contract role and may occasionally require overtime, including early morning or evening commitments to support national programming and stakeholder needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Project manage Assurance learning initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring milestones, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations are proactively managed.
  • Support the implementation and sustainability of service line-specific and cross-service line learning initiatives that help EY people build future-focused capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships with geographically dispersed team members, client-serving professionals, support teams and external providers to deliver a consistent learner experience.
  • Apply strong judgment, attention to detail and quality standards when assisting with sensitive information, learning data, budgets, invoices and approvals.
  • Prepare and distribute clear learner and stakeholder communications, including newsletters, updates, SharePoint content and shared mailbox responses.
  • Attend and, where required, present at meetings and town halls to gather business insights, share learning updates and reinforce learning priorities.
  • Maintain learning databases, support reporting and analysis, and use insights to identify opportunities to improve processes, learner experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with translation and other enablement teams to ensure communications and program materials are ready by required deadlines.
  • Manage Bridge submissions and support invoice review, coding accuracy, approvals and payment processes.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, service lines and geographies, building relationships based on trust, accountability and shared purpose.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for learners, leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, particularly in relation to technical learning and learning operations.
  • Comfortable using technology, learning systems and collaboration tools, with curiosity and agility to learn new platforms and ways of working. Experience using large language models and AI enabled tools to improve productivity, communications or learning operations.
  • Analytical mindset with experience supporting reporting, measurement and process improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Coaching, consulting and facilitation skills, with the ability to support change and help others adopt new processes or tools.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar learning, project coordination, learning operations or stakeholder-facing role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with a learning management system; SuccessFactors experience is an asset.
  • Experience using large language models and AI enabled tools to improve productivity, communications or learning operations.
  • English proficiency is required due to the national scope of the role. This position is available to candidates in various EY offices across Canada.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

  • Toronto/London/Ottawa/Waterloo: $68,400 to $102,600
  • Dieppe: $61,600 to $92,400
