A leading industrial distributor is seeking a Learning and Development Consultant to facilitate and deliver training programs. This role requires 5+ years of experience in corporate training, fluency in both English and French, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The position supports enhancing team member skills and knowledge through ongoing training and performance coaching, with some travel required across Canada.

Reporting to the, Manager, Customer Service Center Training with a dotted line to the Senior Director, Customer Service the incumbent must have a strong understanding of adult learning principals, learning technologies and exceptional facilitation skills.
The Learning and Development (L & D) Consultant will facilitate a full range of evolving and dynamic learning and performance solutions/programs, primarily supporting our Customer Experience functional group.
The L&D Consultant will provide advice on learning strategies and solutions and work with Subject Matter Experts in various regional and corporate roles. The incumbent must be organized, resourceful, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.
They must demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects; work effectively with internal stakeholders across business lines and project plans.
This role will build our Team Member’s knowledge and skills enabling them to further develop the skills needed to perform their jobs and deliver our Customer Promise; programs will range from Leadership, Service, Behavioral content and Technical training.
The candidate for this role will have high energy, outstanding people skills and be able to deliver material effectively through both virtual learning environments and classroom sessions.
They will also be able to work independently and have prior experience with content design and development for different learning audiences.
This role will require 20-30% travel across Canada to facilitate programs across Grainger.
