Overview

Arthur J. Gallagher Canada Limited is seeking a highly motivated and self‑driven professional to join our team as a Learning and Development Associate, National Operations. Reporting to the Vice President, Process Integration and Learning, this role is integral to providing administrative support for the Learning & Development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting change management initiatives, ensuring training materials remain current, and contributing to the overall success of the Learning & Development Team.

This national role offers flexibility in location therefore the successful candidate does not need to reside in Ontario.

How you'll make an impact
  • Maintain updates for Branch Workflows, Branch Job Aids, PowerPoint presentations and GCOE SOPs
  • Creating and distributing staff communications under L&D guidance
  • Maintain updates for Epic Quick Reference Guide
  • Setting up and reviewing training clients
  • Sending training follow‑up emails and post‑training surveys to staff
  • Maintaining the training hours spreadsheet
  • Marking training knowledge reviews and sending results to trainees under L&D guidance
  • Updating training scripts under L&D guidance
  • Assisting with staff inquiries from the L&D mailbox under L&D guidance
  • Setting up the annual training calendar
  • Managing and tracking enhancement requests, bug fixes, UAT due dates, and release dates for systems such as Epic, CSR24, CSP, PAT‑E, DMS, BPC, Workbench, Gallagher Submit, and Dashboard Reports
  • Attending software‑related meetings to gain knowledge and perform required tracking
  • All other duties as assigned
About you
  • A university degree or equivalent business experience demonstrating the ability to achieve results
  • A minimum of 5 years of directly applicable experience in commercial insurance brokerage
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance is essential
  • Familiarity with EPIC is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within deadlines
  • A motivated self‑starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • A positive attitude with the ability to view situations from multiple perspectives and apply strategic thinking
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • A valid “G” driver’s license in good standing
