Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking a Project Manager — Industrial Engineering to drive lean initiatives across production sites in the Montreal area. You will guide shop-floor to top-management efforts, champion continuous improvement, and deliver value through targeted projects.

You will lead Kaizen workshops, map value streams, and implement OEE, takt time, and cycle time metrics, while promoting 5S and visual management principles across teams. Bilingual French/English required.

Qualifications

• Degree in industrial engineering, production engineering, or logistics.
• 3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean tools: VSM, 5S, SMED, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, PDCA.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (green or black belt) is an asset.
• Excellent project management and team facilitation skills.
• Functional bilingualism (French/English) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects on production lines.
• Create value stream maps (VSMs) and identify waste.
• Lead Kaizen workshops with field teams.
• Implement performance indicators: OEE, takt time, cycle time.
• Deploy and maintain the 5S methodology and visual management.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and management to prioritize projects.
