We are seeking an experienced and dynamic school leader for the position of Principal for Sir Alexander Mackenzie Secondary (SAMS). Serving roughly one hundred students, this school offers excellent core programming and has a well‑established Nuxalk Language and Culture program, an Outdoor Education program, trades, year‑round athletics, and a long history of supporting the Fine Arts. Occupying the same campus is a district‑run childcare centre, our 5‑7 school (NES), access to community biking and hiking trails, and a community Art House, together serving as a flagship for district initiatives in a valued community hub.

Candidates Must Possess:

• Current knowledge of sound instructional practice;
• Demonstrated commitment and knowledge of Indigenous education;
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;

• A Master's degree from a recognized university;
• Certification, or eligibility for same, as a teacher in the Province of BC is a requirement.
