Job description

We are recruiting a Senior Project Leader to join our global, dynamic and innovative team dedicated to assisting our clients in their efforts to contribute to a healthier world.

This is a position of high responsibility, attached to our research and development department, allowing the evolution of the field of healthcare and patient treatment at a global level.

As a Project Leader/Senior Project Leader, you will be responsible for direct communication between the IQVIA department and the various clients while positioning yourself as responsible for service delivery, quality of delivery and maintaining control of finances. You will be responsible for an international and multidisciplinary team and you will be accompanied by experts in all fields allowing the use of state-of-the-art technology and data analysis.

The key collaborators are the Clinical Project Leaders for our site management department, the Project Vendor Manager, the Project Management Analyst for project coordination, monitoring and financial analysis as well as the Site Activation Manager, an expert in start-up studies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary project team, and be responsible for the achievement of project milestones and the quality of agreed services.
  • Position yourself as the primary point of contact with clients regarding progress and management.
  • Develop a plan for the management of the study by ensuring a solid use of available tools, training materials and while remaining compliant with standard processes, rules and procedures.
  • Anticipate risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Manage the team's assignments for the study as well as their responsibilities and required resources.
  • Ensure that the study budget is proactively managed while keeping changes and financial management systems up to date.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's level degree in the field of science or similar.
  • Experience as a global project manager, in the drug development industry and ideally acquired within a clinical research organization.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management and clinical operations or equivalent experience combining academic background, training and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of our key therapeutic areas: Internal Medicine, Central Nervous System, Gastroenterology, Immunology, Women's Health, Cardiovascular, Renal Metabolism as well as Early Phases or Oncology.
Therapeutic Area Expertise
Oncology
  • Preferably with knowledge in the field of gene and cell therapies, immuno-oncology, targeted and first-time therapies in humans as well as pediatric oncology and/or biosimilars.
Cardiovascular, Kidney Disease and Metabolic Disease
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one of these indications: cardiovascular, kidney disease, and metabolic diseases.
Gastroenterology
  • Preferably, a thorough knowledge of irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Sponsor-Dedicated Department
  • In-depth knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, pain, psychiatry, stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy and/or lupus.
Central Nervous System
  • Preferably, an in-depth knowledge of at least one of these indications: Neurology, (multiple sclerosis, stroke, epilepsy), Neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), Psychiatry (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, major depressive disorder, sexual dysfunction, sleep disorder) Pain and Rare diseases (Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Neuromyelitis optica).
Immunology and Women's Health
  • Preferably, a thorough knowledge in rheumatology (RA, Lupus or osteoarthritis), dermatology (Psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria), rare diseases, plasma-derived therapies or women's health (fertility, contraception, endometriosis, osteoporosis).
Internal Medicine
  • Preferably, in-depth knowledge of infectious diseases (e.g. vaccines and treatments, COVID/SARS, influenza, hepatitis, respiratory syncytial virus, HIV, Ebola, Dengue, Malaria and tuberculosis) respiratory diseases (e.g. asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, pneumonia, allergies) Rare diseases (e.g. genetic blood diseases, metabolic diseases such as sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, glycogen and lysosome storage disorders, cell and genetic therapy), ophthalmology (e.g. age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy etc…)
