Job summary

Molinaro's Fine Italian Foods Ltd. is seeking an experienced welder to join our on-site team in Mississauga.

You will operate welding equipment (manual or semi-automatic) and read blueprints to fabricate or repair metal parts, ensuring weld integrity and adherence to specifications. The position requires 2–3 years of experience, a secondary school diploma, and the ability to work full-time, on-site, with starts as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts.
• Maintain focus on quality and safety standards during welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
• Weld or braze components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints.
• Installing machinery and equipment.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
