Job summary

Emterra Tire Recycling Ltd., a division of Emterra Group, based in Brampton, Ontario, is hiring a shift supervisor to lead a dock team responsible for unloading inbound trucks and staging tires for processing.

You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensure on-time reporting, promote a safe work environment, and may work overtime or weekends. The plant runs 24/7 with a wage of CAD 27/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
• Experience in warehousing; forklift licence is an asset.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver tires up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods; outdoor work.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; familiarity with MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 5-6 dock employees per shift unloading and staging tires.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with plant operations.
• Ensure shipments are not delayed; verify and complete required reports.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy work environment and report to management.
• Submit reports on inbound tire volumes and other data; overtime and weekend work may be required.
