Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a party chief role.
• Chainsaw experience and training is an asset.
• Willingness to travel for short duration projects out of town.

Responsibilities

• Lead field survey crews in the collection of topographic, boundary, construction, and control data.
• Interpret project plans, legal descriptions, and survey requirements to plan daily field activities.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment including GNSS receivers, total stations, and data collectors.

Skills

Proficiency in modern survey equipment and software

Strong understanding of geodetic principles

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Education

Graduate of Centre of Geographic Science (COGS), EIT designation, or equivalent
