Job summary

PSP Investments, headquartered in Ottawa with a principal office in Montréal, seeks a Solution Designer, Total Fund Solutions. You will design web apps, data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks), integrations, and AI-enabled solutions aligning with PSP architecture.

You’ll guide delivery teams in an Agile setting, evaluate security and performance, and drive decisions across analyses, development, and operations while exploring new technologies and maintaining governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IS.
• 5–7 years designing enterprise technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience with web apps, APIs and cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, architecture principles.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Experience with AI-enabled technologies and related tooling.
• English and French fluency for cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions including web apps, data solutions, APIs and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements: security, resiliency, performance, scalability.
• Plan, document and maintain solution designs with dependencies and risks.
• Provide guidance to delivery teams and facilitate technical decision-making.
• Support implementation and resolve issues aligning with design.
• Research emerging technologies and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Ensure designs comply with SDLC, architecture standards and data governance.
