At its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values of caring, customer success, collaboration, curiosity, and drive. We believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can develop, contribute, and thrive. If this sounds like the kind of workplace where you can contribute meaningfully, keep reading.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

You will join an agile team of 5-7 engineers working on our SimCorp Data Ingestion product. Together with your team, you will understand customer requirements, design solutions, implement and test software, and support the solutions in production. While software engineering is still central to the role, we are seeking someone who can improve our engineering practices through expertise in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and AI-assisted software development. As our products continue to evolve toward cloud-native architectures and increasingly sophisticated solutions, ensuring high quality, reliability, and delivery efficiency becomes even more important. We see AI as a key enabler for the future of software engineering and are actively exploring how AI can improve development productivity, testing effectiveness, and operational excellence. Our technology stack is centered around C#, .NET, Azure, APIs, and cloud-based services, and our current focus areas include:

  • AI-assisted software development and testing
  • Test automation and quality engineering
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Cloud transformation on Microsoft Azure
  • System performance and scalability
  • Developer productivity and operational excellence

In addition to delivering customer features, we continuously improve our product, engineering practices, and ways of working. Questions such as "How can AI help us detect issues earlier?", "How can we improve automation coverage?", and "How can we deliver faster while maintaining quality?" are part of our everyday conversations. You will be working in Toronto. English is our corporate language and is used in all communication.

WHAT WE VALUE

Most importantly, we value engineers who are committed to building high-quality software and continually improving how software is developed and tested.

We value experience in some of these technologies and practices, plus a commitment to ongoing growth and development:

  • C# and .NET development
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Test automation and quality engineering (Playwright or Cypress)
  • Agile testing methodologies
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • AI-assisted software development tools
  • Generative AI technologies and their application in engineering
  • System performance, observability, and scalability

As a person, you:

  • Assume responsibility and drive meaningful progress
  • Enjoy solving challenging technical problems
  • Are curious about new technologies, particularly AI
  • Thrive in collaborative environments
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve products and processes
  • Believe that quality is everyone's responsibility
The salary range for this position is 113,840 - 170,760 CAD.

Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications.

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
