Job summary

BUILD IT is seeking a Foreman for a full-time, on-site role across Alberta locations including Jasper and Banff. You will supervise construction crews, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality workmanship under the Site Supervisor's guidance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial interior renovations, strong carpentry and framing skills, and a willingness to travel within Alberta. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial construction, focused on interior renovations.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel within Alberta.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Codes and construction safety protocols.
• WHMIS, Working at Heights, and First Aid certifications.
• Journeyman ticket or Red Seal in Carpentry or Drywall finishing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee T-bar/ceiling grid installations and metal stud framing.
• Perform mudding, taping, and sanding for paint-ready finishes.
• Install flooring, tile, and architectural millwork/carpentry.
• Lead safety, maintain hazard-free site, and enforce PPE requirements.
• Coordinate trades with the Site Supervisor and subcontractors.
