Job summary

Realign Llc seeks an experienced Lead SDET Engineer to define enterprise automation strategies and architect scalable testing frameworks. You will drive quality engineering across UI, API, mobile, database, and microservices testing with strong leadership across Agile and DevOps environments.

You will architect CI/CD-integrated test solutions and mentor QA teams, promoting shift-left practices and measurable ROI. Experience with AI/GenAI-enabled testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing automation architecture and scalable frameworks.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with AI/GenAI-enabled testing solutions (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide automation strategy and framework architecture.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, mobile, database and microservices testing.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools and technologies based on requirements.
• Architect CI/CD-integrated test automation solutions (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Drive shift-left testing and quality gates within Agile/DevOps.
• Establish automation standards, governance, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, Security, and DevOps.
• Lead POCs and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled testing.
• Define automation metrics, dashboards, and ROI measurements.
• Mentor QA Leads, SDETs, and Automation Engineers.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced LEAD SDET ENGINEER to define enterprise-wide automation strategies, architect scalable testing frameworks, and drive quality engineering initiatives across Agile and DevOps environments. The role will provide technical leadership across UI, API, mobile, database, and microservices testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide automation testing strategy, framework architecture, and quality engineering roadmap.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, mobile, database, and microservices testing.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools, frameworks, and technologies based on business and technical requirements.
• Architect CI/CD-integrated test automation solutions using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Drive shift-left testing practices and quality gates within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, framework governance, and reusable component libraries.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, Security teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Lead POCs and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI-enabled testing.
• Define automation metrics, reporting dashboards, ROI measurements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor QA Leads, SDETs, and Automation Engineers on framework design and automation best practices.
• Support performance, accessibility, security, and resiliency testing strategies.
• Drive defect prevention through root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in test automation architecture and framework design.
• Expertise with automation frameworks and tools including:

  • Robot Framework
• Strong understanding of UI, API, mobile, database, and microservices automation.
• Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, shift-left testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Experience establishing automation standards, governance, reusable components, and coding guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/GenAI-enabled testing solutions.
• Experience supporting performance, accessibility, security, and resiliency testing.
• Experience defining automation KPIs, dashboards, and ROI metrics.
• Proven experience mentoring SDETs and automation engineering teams.
• Experience in enterprise-scale quality engineering transformation initiatives.
