Job summary

A prominent nonprofit organization in Southwestern Ontario is seeking individuals for their Licensed School Age Program. Candidates will plan and deliver engaging child-centered programs for children aged 4-12, ensuring safety and providing compassionate support to families. Members of the College of Early Childhood Educators can earn $26.00-$27.00/hour, while non-members can earn up to $22.00/hour. Ideal candidates will possess relevant educational qualifications and experience working with children.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a work or school setting involving children aged 4-12 is an asset.
  • Plans to enroll in, or is currently pursuing, a diploma in Early Childhood Education.
  • Registered graduates must be in good standing in the CECE.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver child-centered programs for elementary-age children.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to children and families.
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times.

Skills

Experience working with children 4-12 years
Early Childhood Education diploma or degree
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs)

Education

Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
