Job summary

PSI CRO in Canada is seeking a Lead Project Manager to oversee international clinical trials from startup to closure, ensuring deliverables are produced on time and within budget.

This role combines project leadership with corporate assignments such as feasibility research, mentoring study teams, and supporting business development through proposals and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research.
• At least 2 years in project-level management across startup to closure.
• Oncology experience preferred; gastroenterology or radiopharmaceuticals a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to medium international projects across multiple countries and services.
• Co-manage complex programs to ensure quality, timeliness and budget adherence.
• Lead project teams and promote delivery and service excellence to PSI customers.
• Mentor and train study team members; participate in feasibility research.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Implement company standard practices and compliance procedures.

Job Description

As a Lead Project Manager, your role will consist of two parts: Project Management and Corporate/Departmental Assignments.

Project Management responsibilities include:

• Management of small (<5 countries and/or limited services) and medium sized (5-15 countries and/or full service) projects under general supervision with primary responsibility for the production of project deliverables in conformance with the predefined quality standards, on time and on budget
• Performing the project co-manager’s role in complex international projects/programs with secondary responsibility for the production of project deliverables in conformance with the predefined quality standards, on time and on budget
• Adherence to and promotion of principles of delivery and service in dealing with PSI customers
• Project team leadership

Corporate/Departmental Assignments include:

• Training, mentoring and coaching of study team members.
• Participation in feasibility research
• Assistance in business development tasks, such as development of proposals, client presentations, bid defense meetings, and the like
• Implementation of company standard practices and compliance with intradepartmental procedures

Qualifications

• At least 5-year industry experience in clinical research
• At least 2 years of project-levelclinical project management experience, including management of all project phases from startup to closure
• Experience in Oncology is preferred, experience in Gastroenterology and/or radipharmaceuticals is a plus
