Responsibilities

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of production workers.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Train staff/workers in job duties and safety procedures.
• Order materials, equipment and supplies.
